For those less familiar, jazzahead is an annual trade fair and festival dedicated to jazz held in the German city of Bremen. Since its premiere in 2006, it has grown into a several-day event combining music showcases and sessions around jazz. The last edition was online and comprised a broad range of jazz-related debates.

“Showcases” are the 30- to 45-minute short concerts at jazzahead! which are open to the general public and at the same time part of the trade fair. 40 jazz highlights and current formations from all over the world can be experienced on three days and nights on the stages of Hall 7 and the Kulturzentrum Schlachthof.

Grands Formats is in a period of call for applications for its European network, called Think Big! To apply, just send an email (erwan@grandsformats.com) with a short presentation of your project and motivations to become member. I will present our actions and objectives to you in further details.
